Lovingly hand-knit, beautiful and soft (not scratchy!) Classic wear, perfect for those cold winter days or for when you're out and about with family hiking, camping, hunting or fishing! Knit from 100% pure Canadian wool, these sweaters are naturally water proof, and never go out of style! A true piece of Canadian Heritage.
These sweaters are made to order. I only make a certain amount of sweaters per year, so please order early to avoid disappointment (I can only knit so fast!) as there is normally a wait list.
Sweaters are generally completed in 4 weeks, though this can vary depending on the time of year (Feb - July is a quieter time of year and so wait times are generally shorter.) Please feel free to message me for current turnaround time. For Christmas, please order early to avoid disappointment. Christmas orders must be received no later than Oct 1 (knit and shipping time.)
Measure from the center of the back of the wearers neck to where the wrist meets the hand or as long as the wearer wants it (make sure to measure with arms stretched straight out from the neck for accurate measurements).
Measure from the nape of the neck down to the length desired on the waist/hip area (or as long as you want your custom sweater).
Measure all the way around the fullest part of the chest. You would then add 2-4 inches to this number, depending on how you want the fit (2" - Snug - allows for light clothing underneath, for example t-shirt) OR (4" - Relaxed - allows for heavier clothing underneath, for example another sweater - good for really cold climates.) The extra inches also allow for ease of movement, and prevents the sweater from "riding up" when your arms are raised. For example, if you have a 40” chest, you’ll want to order either the 44" for a relaxed fit or 42" for a snug fit. If you ordered the 40" it would not fit!
- Pick your pattern from the drop down menu (send me a convo to see what they look like if you're unsure, or if you'd like a pattern that isn't listed)
- Choose from the options provided for the complete size in the drop-down menu provided, also please provide the additional measurements (arm length and body length) in the "Note to Seller" section of the checkout section.
- Also include in the "Note to Seller" section the colour scheme you'd like from the colour card in this listing's photos.
Don't worry. If you forget to include any of this info, I'll send you a message to clarify :)
Don't see your size? Do you like a snug fit? No worries. I take custom orders no matter what size you are! Send me a convo and we can work together on your perfect sweater.

Hand wash in cold water using a gentle soap. Soak the sweater in the suds and squeeze gently. Do not rub or leave to soak. Once sweater is clean, squeeze out as much water as possible. Do not lift the sweater by a corner from the wash or rinse water -always lift as a bundle. Remove excess moisture by rolling in a thick towel and lay garment on a flat surface away from bright lights, excess heat and not in sunlight. Do not hang to dry. While still damp, gently push sweater back to its original size and shape.
Tips to keep your Sweater beautiful for years to come:
Your sweater will eventually start to lose its natural oils with washing. To retain water repellency in your wool, add a tablespoon of olive oil to rinse water every couple washes. When your sweater is not in use, it should be stored flat in a drawer or cupboard. Hanging the garment on a hanger or hook will affect the shape.
Please pay within 2 days of your purchase.
For customers located in the city of Prince George, please ensure that you enter the promotion code "LOCAL" at check out to avoid paying shipping costs :) Pick-up/delivery will be arranged.
We use Canada Post for all of our shipping, unless otherwise specified through special arrangement. A breakdown comparison of the different shipping methods can be viewed here:
Some of our items are "vacuum packed" to save on shipping costs for our customers. Being knit, these items usually fluff right up once they're out of the packaging. If you still see some scrunching, you can throw the item in the dryer (on air only) to help speed the process along.
We tend to ship 3 times a week (Mon, Wed, Fri) but this is increased to M-F during busy times. All of the shipping methods used include tracking and insurance except for items sent by regular mail/post (without an upgrade.) These are sent via oversized mail in Canada, and Small Packet in the US unless an upgrade is selected. All tracking info can be viewed through the "Purchases and Reviews" area of your account.
For orders going to the US or International customers, the buyer is responsible for any tarifs/duty/tax/etc due to import. I have no control over the time an item takes to clear customs.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! :)
